Healing Arts with Stefanie Tovar, LLC
Stefanie Tovar (she/her/ella) is a healing justice practitioner, multidisciplinary artist, and cultural strategist who has spent over two decades merging wellness, performance, and community-rooted liberation. With more than 15 years of experience facilitating trauma-informed and culturally grounded healing spaces, Stefanie guides individuals and communities in restoring connection to body, spirit, and purpose.
She is the Founder and Executive Director of Yena, a nonprofit dedicated to making sacred and healing practices accessible to historically excluded communities—including youth in schools, families in shelters, and change agents in public life. Stefanie is also CEO of Healing Arts with Stefanie Tovar LLC, where she works as a recording artist signed to Orchard Records (a Sony imprint), has served as a Healing Justice coach for statewide and national civic organizations like BRIDGE Movements and re:power, and a creative wellness facilitator.
Her debut EP, Shine a Light, charted on Billboard’s New Age list and continues to serve as a sonic offering for restoration. Stefanie's work has been featured in partnership with institutions like Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation, The Momentous Institute, Cara Mía Theatre, Human Rights Initiative, SXSW, Sedona Yoga Festival, Pangea World Theater, and many more.
A published playwright and commissioned voice for Black and Brown goddess storytelling (via Harlem9’s 48-Hour Festival), Stefanie was also selected as one of 40 national leaders for the Culture of Health Leadership Institute for Racial Healing, where she continues to deepen her work at the intersection of systems change and personal healing.
Whether offering curanderismo-inspired rituals, yoga and sound practices, or truth-telling through story and song, Stefanie’s work invites us to remember Radical Love as both an inner compass and collective force for justice.
